The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently checking out the Fernie 2 Group Hall in Mpuluzi to render providers on the community.

SASSA are going to be rendering companies for example new social grant applications, change of payment method, customer treatment enquiries, along with the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a statement, the agency claimed it's alarmed with regards to the large number of people counting on social grants for survival.
“The aim with the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out sassa status check to some superior variety of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This can be due to the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no fully functional office focused on service the area on a daily basis.
